DIV Shea Butter for Face - Dry Skin

For all those of you dealing with the skin issues of dryness, acne and eczema, you have come to the perfect post. Here is a natural and easy-to-make remedy using mango butter, unrefined shea butter, rosehip oil and almond oil. This product is effective in smoothening, nourishing and providing deep moisturization for your skin.

Benefits of the Ingredients

Taken from the core of a mango seed, mango butter is light and almost free of aroma. It is full of antioxidants, fatty acids and vitamins that improve skin health and elasticity. It replenishes your natural glow and works to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Raw Mango Butter

The next ingredient is unrefined shea butter. Shea butter is abundant in nutrients and antioxidants. It can treat very dry or cracked skin, eczema and psoriasis due to its moisturizing property. It is non-comedogenic and therefore doesn’t block pores. It can also treat acne and breakouts due to its antibacterial abilities.

Unrefined Shea Butter

A potent anti-ageing ingredient, rosehip oil is also known as the “Oil of Youth”. Many serum recipes to reduce the appearance of ageing include this oil. Alternatively, it can be used directly on the skin as a serum. It is not too thick and is, therefore, light on the skin, seeping into it quickly. It does not leave any coating or residue and is called a “dry oil”.

Rosehip Oil

Rosehip oil has skin brightening abilities. It can help return one’s skin to its normal tone and colour. The Vitamin A and antioxidants that it contains in plentiful quantities, improve the regeneration of the skin. Further, it is very effective in helping to fade fine lines, age spots and wrinkles.

Almond oil is the final ingredient. Due to its abundance of nutrients, it provides protection to the skin and also acts as a powerful moisturizer. The vitamins and fatty acids present in this carrier oil, help to revive natural glow and improves the production of collagen. This ingredient is also non-comedogenic in nature.
