Recipe

Ingredients:

1 Cup Better Butter Company's Unrefined Shea Butter
2 Teaspoons Virgin Coconut Oil
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
10-15 drops of any one of these Essential Oils:
Organic Lavender Essential Oil - To relieve stress and boost hair growth
Organic Tea Tree Essential Oil - For effective dandruff treatment
Organic Rosemary Essential Oil - For cell regeneration and hair growth
Organic Ylang Ylang Essential Oil - For dry scalp
Peppermint Essential Oil - For a cooling effect and as a hair follicle booster

Method:

Heat the butter, coconut oil, and olive oil till well melted on a double boiler.
Remove from heat, cover the mixing bowl with a cling wrap and stove it in the freezer till the mixture cools down to a semi-solid state (It might take 20 to 40 minutes).
Take it out of the freezer, whip it with a hand blender till the mixture churns into a buttercream frosting-like texture.
Add the essential oil and give it a quick mix till well combined.
Store this mixture in an air-tight jar. Since the ingredients are "all-natural," the product will stay good for up to 6-8 months, provided it is stored in a cool, dry place away from moisture.

Usage:

Post shower, when the hair is damp, take a wee bit, melt it between your palms and apply it on the edges of your hair strands. Let the hair air dry before styling.

Kindly Note:

1) Shea butter is a heavy-duty moisturizer. So a little butter goes a long way.
2) People with oily scalp should avoid using this conditioner more than once a week as it could make your hair heavy and flat.
3) As always, we recommend a patch test before application. Or, if you develop itchiness or redness post-use, kindly discontinue using the conditioner. Although the conditioner is 100% natural, some could be allergic to natural butters and oils.
4) The products I have mentioned above are not paid promos. I have personally used them and love them. If you buy through the link mentioned above, I get a small referral fee from Amazon.
