SHEA BUTTER FOR HAIR

Like all our other butters, Shea Butter can work wonders for your hair. The vitamins and minerals in it help with sealing the moisture in your hair strands, keeping them frizz free and hydrated. Natural butters can be used as a hair mask pre-shampooing or a leave-in conditioner post a shampoo wash. 

Kindly Note: Since it's 100% all butter, a little goes a long way. Overusing the butter can make your hair greasy and difficult to wash off.

THE SPECIALITY 

Shea trees are primarily found in West Africa - Mali, Nigeria, Ghana, Burkina Faso and Ivory Coast. Of them, the highest quality grade comes from Ghana. Our Unrefined Shea Butter is sustainably sourced from women cooperatives in Ghana, selectively picking lots with the lowest impurity and highest oil content.

Shea Butter best for dry skin

If you're looking for pure Shea Butter in India, this is the one for you. It's completely natural with no additional ingredients and is priced at only 599 for 200 ml. This tub will last you ages with regular use.
I've always had dry hands and legs, especially palms and feet, but the itchiness comes and goes. No amount of any other moisturizer was helping. In fact I was waking up at night just to scratch my skin as the itching was unbearable. Nandini was extremely helpful in helping me choose Shea Butter which was soothing from the get go. It has next to no scent and is very moisturizing. I don't think it helps with itching per se, but it definitely provides heavy duty moisturization. I used to slather my hands and legs with this at night. During the day I apply a small amount every time I wash my hands. I live in Chennai and used this through the summer as well. You can apply just a small amount and it soothes the dry skin. This is not for oily skinned people, but definitely for those with dry, very dry or sensitive skin. It doesn't cause any issues for those with sensitive skin, like me. For oily skin, one of the lighter butters will work better, like mango or avocado, just ask Nandini for help choosing the right one. Now that I've found this, it has become part of my everyday use year round. I just finished this tub now in August 2023. So I've recently bought the Cocoa Butter to try out next. But this without hesitation if you want something really good that is fuss-free.
